2012 International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC) Salmon Bake
McMinnville, Ore.
This is what I’m doing with my weekend. #PinotfortheWin-o
Willamette Valley, Oregon
If you love wines, especially Pinot Noir, head out to Willamette Valley in Oregon - around McMinnville, 40 minutes drive west from Portland downtown. It’ll definitely make for one of the better wine tasting experiences you have had. If you want to take it to the next level, attend the International Pinot Noir Celebration in July everywhere that takes place in the heart of the Valley (http://www.ipnc.org)! The festival takes place in the afternoon at Linfield College in McMinnville.
Over 60 top Pinot Noir wine makers from New Zealand, France, Chile, Anderson Valley and Willamette Valley offer for tasting their best wines every year. Accompanied with hors d’eoeuvrs from finest chefs in the country. Our favorite Pinot Noir winery continues to be Goldeneye from Anderson Valley, Mendocino which was served at Obama’s inauguration!
